Sunday School

We offer Sunday School for all ages

For our children, ages 3–10:

Every week we meet for Sunday School from 9:45am to 10:45am. During this time we work on a craft that ties into our Bible lesson. We also sing songs and learn how to pray for one another.

We meet again when we are dismissed from the morning service for Junior Church. Here we open the Bible so that we can discover all that God wants us to learn about Him, our world and most importantly that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins.

All are welcome to join us!

We have a General Adult Sunday School class on Sunday mornings at 9:45am. We meet in the Fellowship Room. For more information please see Rohan Archer.

Join us as we explore the following topics in 2017:

Sep 10 - Oct 8 and Nov 19 - Dec 17
Study of 2 Thessalonians: Explore Paul's second letter to the small Thessalonian Church as he seeks to comfort and assure them as they struggled through great persecution from God’s enemy. Of particular significance, the apostle will study:

- God’s Grace: How he comforts his people through hardship and suffering
- Eternal life and Eternal punishment: God’s Justice revealed through heaven and hell
- Precursors to the Return of Christ: What must happen before the Lord Jesus returns to collect his people

Oct 15 - Oct 29
Reflecting on the Wonder of God’s Word in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the rediscovery of the relevancy of the Word in the believer’s life during the Protestant Reformation. Do you study the Bible regularly or does it occupy an almost permanent spot on the shelf or side table? Do you even remember where it is at the moment? Did you know that before the Reformation God-inspired through Martin Luther, the Bible could only be handled by priests in the church. Now most of us have the privilege to own as many copies (many of us do) as we wish. Come and explore the history, importance and relevance of God’s Word over the last 500 years and consider how this historic event has impacted the spread of the gospel, the growth of the Church and every believer’s life today.

Nov 5 - 12
Missions Conference speakers.

For those interested in becoming members of our church, or learning more about who we are and what we believe, we have a Welcome to Long Branch class which meets in room 304. For more information, and to sign up for this class, please see John Wright.

We also have a Mandarin Sunday School class for our Mandarin speakers. It begins each Sunday at 9:30am.
